Hacks/Hackers is an international grassroots community of people who seek to inspire and inform each other to build the future of media. “Hacks” (journalists) and “hackers” (technologists) work together to create physical and digital spaces for exploring new ways to tell stories.

The worlds of hackers, journalists and activists are coming together, as reporting goes digital and Internet companies become media empires.

Hacker-journalists try and bridge the two worlds. HacksHackers aims to bring all these people together – those who are working to help people make sense of our world. It’s for hackers exploring technologies to filter and visualize information, and for journalists who use technology to find and tell stories.

Code for Nigeria is a proud host to 2 HacksHackers chapters. Help us build better digitally connected societies by joining our community today!
